Reconnect

It's been oh so long
since them times we got along.
The feels we thought were gone
they say that we're not done.

when you saw me, you would freeze.
Then we gave each other keys
to open up our ease.

Ye said "How have you been?"
'Quite fine, I then replied.
Things had changed since we were ten
after what never felt so alive.
Keep forgetting why we broke us apart
Was it too good or something else?
Maybe my shyness or your work of art?
Either way, there was nothing but us

Do you still remember all the games we played,
all when I fell, you helped me up again.
Think it was just then I prayed
for the bond between us t'never end.
Whatever wrongs we'd done,
