Hey you all!
This time I decided to write one post in English for a change. I've been so tight with my Estonian that it made me think about the first time I shared my blog. "Some posts will be in Estonian, some in English," that's what I wrote. But enough about that. In this post I decided to write down some things in my life that bring me the calmness I need. As we all know there are moments that sometimes make us feel at our lowest, so what we need are things that let the light in our souls during dark times. So, here are some things that make me feel happy at different times:

1) Music - In case some of you don't know, music plays a huge part in my life. I take music with me everywhere I go, no matter if I sing along or not. No matter how long or short walks I take to school or on the beach or even rides on the bus, what I need is my playlist coming from my headphones. Fact is I love to sing, and perform. When I am on a stage and music is on, it gives me the feeling as if "I'm home and safe". The only moment a person is at their greatest happiness is when they do something they love. To me these moments are when I am singing and acting on that stage.
And here's a link to a video of my last performance in Waf school:

3) Meditation - Mediation is something I came across 3 years ago. It was a bit like this: before a show I walked towards a friend who was sitting on a bench or something like it. His eyes were closed and he had rather calm music coming from his headphones. I wondered what he was doing and so, he gave me one of the headphones and I sat next to him. I closed my eyes and listened to what came through. After that I felt a little more calm than I did before. Ever since then when I have the chance and time, I open up Youtube page and listen to some meditation videos, either with guidance voice or just with that calm music in the backround, during which I focus on my breathing. Talking from experience, meditating has helped me a lot and I suggest all of you should try it. In case you would like to know, I wrote this blog post while listening to meditation music in hopes I can concentrate better on ideas about what to write. I felt as if I was in another world where there was a sense of hope and that anything is possible. Try it and you won't regret it! 😉
4) Sunsets - Ah, the beauty of nature. And the beauty of the source of light we know as the Sun. Since I am not an early bird I have come to a thought that capturing the magic of sunlight is easier when it's about end their day. Many times when I have gone home from Waf school I like to watch it go down while enjoying the busride. However I have recently found sunsets more enjoyable when taking a walk on the beach or just on the way home. With every picture I have take of sunsets I have come to this idea of this beauty. As the sun goes, taking the light of the day with itself, so comes the gentle evening and gives us moon and stars to light up the night sky. Despite the fact that hands get really cold when capturing the sunset with my phone, it is always worth it! 😊

So, these are some of many things that bring me positivity when life gets tough. I decided to share them with you because when life really has a habit of going crazy, reminding yourself things that make you happy can assure you that there's nothing that we should be afraid of or nothing bad is going to happen. Positivity lights the darkness in our souls. We'll see ya next time with a new post and new topics/events to talk about! Until then, be happy!! 😇🌈
